Stigma Program Presented at the DDNA in Florida
Daytona Beach, FL May, 2006-- A team from The Initiative for the Defeat of Stigma presented a program at the annual meeting of the Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association.  Jasmine Schmidt, Director of Education at the Simon Foundation for Continence presented on the academics of stigma.  Dr. Rick Rader, Editor in Chief of Exceptional Parent Magazine and Co-Founder of The Initiative for the Defeat of Stigma presented on the history of stigma.  Three time Emmy award-winner Gaia Tossing performed the anti-stigma anthem I Am More.

Stigma Program on Agenda at Upcoming Meeting of the AADMD
